A Labour MP has been taken into custody on suspicion of rape and child sex offences, police have confirmed.
Dan Norris, who has served as the Mayor of the West of England since 2021 and ousted Jacob Rees Mugg to become MP for North East Somerset and Hanh am last year, was arrested following a police raid at his constituency home on Friday.
