Celebrity Big Brother chaos you didn't see - Mickey Rourke's 'selfish' stunt to medical emergency

Celebrity Big Brother's launch episode was filled with drama, but it was what happened behind the scenes that really shook things up.

The show's fans were already stunned by Mickey Rourke's wild entrance, but things took a turn when he fainted and got into an argument with a fellow housemate.

Meanwhile, a medical emergency unfolded, followed by a wild challenge, and presenters Alan Carry and AJ Dudu took a few jabs at a certain housemate's behavior.

As we anticipate the next episode from the celebrity house, let's catch up on all the mayhem that went down during the premiere of Celebrity

A crisis in the audience

The Celebrity Big Brother launch show on Monday night was thrown into chaos when medics and security had to intervene.

An audience member reportedly fell ill and required medical attention during the final rehearsal before the 90-minute live show.

The incident, which wasn't aired on TV, saw medical staff and security guards rush to assist the woman and escort her out of the crowd just before the iconic opening music began to play.

According to The Sun, a witness stated: "AJ [Dudu] and Will [Best] were both shocked as they weren't sure what was happening. However, they continued like pros and those watching at home would have had no idea anything was wrong.", reports

"It took about four guards and medical staff to help the woman up and had they not have acted quickly the incident would have been right in shot."

Mickey Rourke passes out cold

After a tumultuous entry into the house on Monday, which included an awkward exchange with host AJ Dudu, Mickey seemed to have been overwhelmed by the evening's excitement as he was found passed out cold on the sofa.

During the live stream at midnight, the 72 year old American actor was seen apparently asleep under a grey blanket while other housemates, such as Daley Thompson and Angelica Bell, were awake chatting and getting acquainted.

On X, previously known as Twitter, opinions were divided over his decision to miss out on the action and flout the no-sleeping rule.

"Not Mickey asleep already gonna be such a dud housemate," commented one user, while another sympathized: "I honestly don't blame Mickey for going to sleep on that couch, I'd be shattered too if it was like half 1 and they hadn't opened the bedrooms yet."

Mickey's 'selfish' stunt

After entering the house in a somewhat confused state, Mickey managed to annoy his fellow housemates by later casually walking into the special 'Prize Room', without seeking their consent.

Host Will Best hinted at an unexpected twist on tonight's episode of the show, during his chat with viewers on This Morning.

He teased:"It was going to be open to the vote amongst them, 'Who do you think gets to go into that special prize room?'".

Best shared that Mickey didn't hesitate to take the lead, elaborating: "Mickey said 'Me' and got up and walked in, and Danny Beard was saying, 'No Mickey, we're going to decide this.'

"So Mickey's like 'I'm going in' … and he just sort of stumbled his way in."

The host suggested that while it might look like the former boxer would make some selfish choices, viewers could be in for a surprise.

He said, "So immediately you think, OK, Mickey is going to take it upon himself to be... he's going to be very selfish in there, but I don't want to give too much away, it's going to be all on the show tonight.

"But I think his choices in that room might surprise people, and actually, he might have gone in there with more of an altruistic attitude.

"So I think it's going to be this kind of interesting thing of like, you think he's going to be one thing, maybe he's going to be something else, or maybe not."
